Built by people who shoot the news
livestudiovo.org started as a set of internal training notes passed between camera operators and reporters at regional newsrooms across Australia. Those notes grew into a full curriculum covering interview planning, location shoots, and video editing for field production.
Today, courses run in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, and online for reporters working further afield. Every session is led by someone currently working in the field, so the methods taught are the ones being used on air this week.
